More on language in blogs

I have had quite a few comments on my post about profanity, and I really appreciate it. I invited the guy that had reservations about my language to post, but I guess he didn't feel like it. No big deal, that's his right to choose or not choose to air it in a public forum. Even if I do get left out of the blogroll, which is what that was about, I will still leave them up here, someone else might appreciate the linkage.

For the most part, the overwhelming opinion of everyone I have talked to said that it doesn't bother them. Most of the profanity that I use is in context, and I don't even think twice about it. Occasionally I will throw in a few "F" bombs to make a point, but that's about it. I think it depends on what mood I am in. When i am pissed off or have had a bad day at work (funny how those can go together) I tend to curse more, and when I am not, I curse less.

I still haven't made a final decision how I am going to handle things on the blog, but I am pretty much leaning toward not changing a thing because I am what I am, as Popeye would say.
