I just did a check over at weather.com and so far it looks like Saturday the 31st is going to be sunny and 75. Sweet as long as it holds. I have had a few folks get back in touch with me and I will be emailing directions and addresses on Monday afternoon. As far as I know, Eric and his lovely wife are going to try and be in attendance, Denny thinks he has the weekend free, nothing definitive yet, Tobacco Joe and his family are going to crash the party, Yabu doesn't know if he's going to be in the area or not (he may still be trying to get to Claxton), T1G is probably heading home by then, and RSM is going to be having more fun than all of us put together rappelling out of helicopters with Rangers.
You know, as I told him via email, I just see no good reason to leave the perfectly good ground.
Anyway, I think we are expecting 20 or 30 non-bloggers as well (should be a strangely appealing mixture). My brother is coming with his son and of course my lovely wife is the hostess. McGehee might see if he can make it, which is very polite if he can't, and Libby emailed me and is supposed to let me know. That's a bit of a drive for her as well as Eric and Yabu so we shall see.
Anyway, I figured everyone likes linky love so that's enough for an enjoyable evening of reading.
This is also my weekend open trackback post via linkfest.us

don't forget your water guns!!!!
I saw the trackback and was thus reminded about the get-together -- but I'd somehow got the idea it was going to be tomorrow.
So, it's a good thing you posted this.
I wish it was tomorrow, but unfortunately I have about a 16 hour day at work tomorrow before I start my vacation. I get to spend my afternoon painting chair legs and booth supports at my restaurant. Booya.
I linked to you from We Swam Naked Back in the 1950s, Excerpt: There were only boys and men at the Y so when you went swimming it was butt naked. The lifeguard would check you over when you came in to make sure you took a shower before coming in to swim. You had to show the bottoms of your feet to show they were clean as well.
It's showing up with the rest of the trackbacks.
AWWWW! I wanna come, too! Why do you have to be 1500 miles away?
Wish you could be here too. That would be a bit far to drive for a weekend though. It's going to be a blast.
