Supahstar Saturday is Up again

It's time again for Supahstar Saturday. It has slipped my mind the last two weeks and I have not participated. Mainly I was just busy at work.

This weeks blogger is Cass of Midlife Musings. I have 'seen' Cass around from time to time since I started doing paid posts and she has several blogs. She is also a very active mother and loves to knit. This is about her and Midlife Musings though, so let's get into that.

Cass writes well, and what I have seen so far is interesting to read. I also like her site template. Most of the time I really hate re/pink combinations, but this is well presented and everything is nice and neat like it belongs there.

Down at the very bottom of her main page is a recipe she has for Enchiladas. I realize that this is a pretty boring subject for most people but I read it and YES, she uses CORN tortillas. We just had enchiladas the other night, and of course I was out of corn tortillas so even though I knew better, I made them with flour tortillas. They sucked. Big time.

One thing that I think is very nice is that she is very obvious about her faith, but not overbearing. Whether I believe in God or not is not the point here, but the fact is that I am NOT a religious person and don't make any bones about it. I don't have any problems with anyone who is or isn't until they start to try and shove it down my throat. Cass doesn't do that. She goes about her business (the part I see, blogging) and lives by example. In other words from what I see she walks the talk.

I read through a couple of pages of her site, because I haven't been over there for more than a few seconds in the last week or so, and the post that most caught my eye was Janey and the Jello. Sometimes it's the stuff that isn't said that tells us the most.
