One of my favorite credit cards is and always has been, American Express. As a small business manager as well as the sole proprietor of my own consulting business, it has been very helpful to have over the last few years. Credit Card Flyers has quite a few listings for credit cards listed by category to look at. Depending on what you are interested in, there is a lot of useful information to be had at the site.
Most people including myself, seem to be mostly interested in either low interest credit cards or reward credit cards. I much prefer the ones with the lowest interest rates, although if you are going to pay in full each and every month it really doesn't matter what the rate is and the rewards just might be the ticket, which is one of the reasons that I prefer the Amex cards. I also have the Amex Blue card which is not a charge card per se, but an actual credit card, with a pretty decent interest rate.
Credit Card Flyers site is well thought out, with all of the information easily accessible by different categories, with reviews of all of the major credit cards available and rate comparisons as well. There are also links from each to apply for any cards which you might be interested in, including several for people with poor or no credit in order to get their credit score back in line by creating a decent credit history. The biggest thing is not to have too many as too much credit can often spiral out of control and lead to debt that you can't pay back very easily. I have run into that in the past personally, and digging yourself out of that hole is very difficult and time consuming. There is an entire section on Credit Education at Credit Card Flyers as well, to help keep you from getting into that financial mess, and learn a bit about your credit, and how it can affect you later on down the road.
