After my previous post concerning Internet Radio and the fact that it is going to cost Internet broadcasters tons more money than over-the-air I sent my senators and congressman an email concerning it and got back canned email messages basically stating that it is an FCC problem and that there is no legislative action that they could take.
Well guess what, there IS legislative action. It is called H.R. 2060 The Internet Radio Equality Act. I just sent my congressman Phil Gingrey an email asking him to co-sponsor it and it bounced. I'll get over to his web site later this weekend and send him the link from there I suppose.
Anyway, I got this email from a list I am on:
Thank you for your support of the SaveNetRadio campaign. As you know, the future of internet radio is in serious jeopardy. Your letter to your Congressional representatives has led Congress to take action, and a bill that could save Net radio has been introduced.
The "Internet Radio Equality Act ", H.R. 2060, is being considered by Congress right now, and we ask that you take a moment to call your Congressperson to ask them to co-sponsor this legislation.
To find the phone number for your Congressional representative, visit http://capwiz.com/saveinternetradio/home/and enter your zip code.
Your opinion matters to your representatives, and it matters to us. Without your support this bill could not have been introduced and without your continued support it cannot be passed.
Visit SaveNetRadio.org to continue following the fight to Save Internet Radio.
Thank you,
The SaveNetRadio Coalition
Even if you don't listen to a lot of "radio" over the Internet this is an inequality that needs to be addressed and it would be nice if everyone that reads this emails their representative.

Typical. Blame it on the executive branch. Then the FCC will blame it on congress. Circle jerk.
