New Pond Photos

We just finished cutting the grass so I decided it was high time to try out the new camera and post a few photos...

Pond Photos 066.JPG

This is taken from the back side facing the house. Originally the pond was just a pit dug into the ground and a rubber liner like a water bed liner. After a year or two of getting washed out because I sit at the bottom of two hills I went and bought a hard plastic liner and put in a raised garden along with a small waterfall. Haven't had a single problem since.

Just a couple of goldfish at the base of the waterfall. The pump is also directly underneath it. I want to add in an external pump and sit it in a home depot bucket with some plants around it or something so that I can get the filter cleaned a bit easier, but I just haven't figured out yet exactly how I want to do it.

Just another shot of the waterfall. If you look at the lily pads nearest the base of the waterfall you can see that there is a flower bulb, looks like I should have a water lily opening up in the next couple of days. I'll have to make sure and get a shot of it once it opens.
