Went outside for a smoke a last night and was standing on the back deck when a Hummingbird came within about eight inches of my face. My first thought was that a huge mosquito was coming for me (I had a couple of drinks before hand after all) so I jerked my head slightly and then it was gone. That things was tiny.
I've never seen a hummingbird quite that close before and it was amazing.
