I spent the greater part of the day here at the house just bumming around. I did get a few things done that I wanted to take care of including getting to Verizon. I didn't buy the Marine a phone yet though. He wants the one I upgraded to a couple of weeks ago, and what I really wanted is one that is due to be released on Friday. I don't remember the model but it's a Samsung smart phone slider with Windows Mobile 6 on it.
We spent most of the evening at the restaurant in Temple that I opened. It is one year old today and they had a pumpkin carving contest and some other kid goodness there. Face painting, a moonwalk, that type of stuff. The girls had a pretty good time. As a matter of fact, I took RePete and the wife home around seven and RePete was not happy about it. Pete and I went back up to watch the judging and then help clean up a bit.
Cool, apparently I have a plugin installed that lets me insert Flickr photos right from Windows Live Writer. It's amazing the shit I install and never use, or eventually find and think what a cool idea it was to install it, why the fuck haven't I been using it all along?
I have pretty much just been sitting here looking around at different furniture and stuff as I type. I still haven't figured out what kind of stuff I want to suggest to the wife when we redo the room but I am starting to lean toward getting one of those modern platform beds.
The Marine called as I was web surfing and we have been talking for the last 45 minutes or so. I'm not one to talk that long on the phone, which is amazing considering how much time I spend on the damn thing, but I really like hearing from him so it's hard sometimes not to say 'look, I need to get off the phone' because I really don't, but I really do. 
He's supposed to call me back tomorrow at some point so that I can give him my banking information as he needs to transfer the money into my account so that I can get him the phone and get it shipped.
