Two little girls at North Todd Elementary in Kentucky got an early Christmas present that they will never forget. The girls weren't sure what to expect when they were asked to open a very large box in front of the entire school. Their father, Sergeant Matthew Wilder was recently deployed to Iraq and sent a letter to the school saying how sorry he was that he had to miss their birthdays but that he had sent a present for them to open.
Sergeant Wilder is home for the Holidays before he heads off to aviation school.
That was such a cool thing to do it even brought a tear to my cynical hateful eye.

Naughty, Naughty Flintstones!
I love this little video, and hope you will too. It is an evil, gross, global warming enemy, and children attacking video. If you do NOT want your children to see this, ask them to leave the room, please. While this may be a funny video for those ...
PS. You have a mean trackback! LOL. That was so cool. You were not the only one who got choked up. ;)
That's a great video with the Sgt and his kids. I've seen similar surprises by returning soldiers, airmen, marines, navy personel, etc. from Iraq & Afghanistan and it's always heartwarming.
Oh crap, you made me cry in my coffee this morning. I absolutely love seeing surprises like that. Makes my heart melt.
