You know, although I generally support the more libertarian candidates, I had decided earlier in the year that I was going to go ahead and keep as I have the last few years and vote Republican, which in this case means John McCain.

I am fully aware that voting 3rd party means what is basically a lost vote but I really don't see it that way. The only lost or wasted votes in this country are from the people that choose NOT to vote.

I think that perhaps I will continue supporting Ron Paul and either vote for him and if he doesn't run I will vote for whichever kook the libertarian party decides to nominate. Last election cycle the guy I thought my have even a slight chance and liked didn't receive the nomination.

So which one of these stooges are you voting for?

Personally I prefer Iggy but giving the choice between these three I guess a write-in is better than nothing.

It's not that I dislike McCain. Far from it, he's very likable. The problem is that he's just more of the same-old. All I've been hearing for the last two years is "who's the Reagan Candidate"? Fucking none of them. All of the candidates on both sides of the aisle, Ron Paul excepted, is for big government, government oversight on everything, and spending more and more money that we don't have. The Democrats want to tax anyone that has earned more than what they think is acceptable to finance it and the Republicans want to keep borrowing it. Either way it will only work for a few more years but as long as we keep voting for these fuckers that take and take and then redistribute our wealth to people on fucking welfare that won't look for a job in addition to a myriad of pork by-products in countless bills you've never heard of, they are going to keep on thinking it's OK to bend us over and fuck us even harder.
