We've been hearing about the debate for years actually. President Bush used his weekly radio address to call for more drilling here at home.
There are folks in Congress as well as the media that say it would be too hard or we couldn't produce enough to make a difference. Too hard? This is the land of the free and the home of the brave. At least it used to be. Now it's a nation of pussies and people smitten with the mommy syndrome. Sorry folks, you can't get everything taken care of at the local Wal-Mart and welfare office. Sometimes you have to pull your ass up by the bootstraps and get it moving.
If we didn't do things because they were too hard the country would belong to the Japanese Empire right now or never would have succesfully become independent from England.
