Updated 10/14/08 - Casey Anthony has been indicted by a grand jury on seven counts including 1st Degree Murder and is in police custody. More info here.
Update August 29th 10:50PM - Casey has been re-arrested for writing bad checks.
Updated - August 29th 4:02PM
Apparently Leonard Padilla's main concerns over revoking Casey Anthony's bond had to do with safety and security issues and says that as long as Jose Baez can clear those up he won't revoke the bond.
Texas EquuSearch is ramping up to start searching for Caylee over the weekend using searchers on horseback, planes, dogs, divers and even a remote controlled plane that can shoot pictures over wooded ares and bodies of water. They are working with the cooperation of the Orange County Sheriff's department and hopefully will be able to turn something up over the weekend.
According to the Orlando Sentinel's story Jose Baez has been in touch with the state attorney's office (and he is the one that approached them) since JULY 25th. Prosecutor Linda Burdick emailed him back on the 29th saying that she hadn't heard from him about what information Anthony could provide. They discussed it on August 12th and on the 25th they sent another email to Baez letting him know that the immunity would expire on the 28th. Since then of course the immunity has been extended until Tuesday.
The limited immunity would only be for the statements that Casey Anthony made to the law, it would not include any other evidence which WOULD be admissible in court. They offered the immunity in hopes that they could find the child while she was still alive but as the tests keep coming back in and show that Caylee is probably dead it seems pretty slim. The immunity deal is off the table as of Tuesday.
Updated 5:30PM Her bond has been/is in the process of being revoked and the Padillas will return her to the jail on Saturday. I don't know why the grandstanding and waiting until Saturday unless that is the first day that Al Estes, the bail bondsman in Tampa that bailed her out can't make it there until then.
Updated 12:29PM According to WESH news reporter Bob Kealing the Orange County Sheriff's department definitely has the DNA results and is planning a meeting at 3PM after which a statement to the press is possible.
They are also reporting that the immunity offer is on the table until Tuesday although if anymore evidence comes in (such as Caylee's body) that could change.
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Eyewitness News was informed Thursday morning by bounty hunter Leonard Padilla that he's beginning the process of having Casey Anthony's $500,000 bond revoked after details emerged that suggest missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony is dead. Padilla said he's working to determine the process and hopes to begin it Thursday afternoon or Friday.
The article linked to above says that Leonard Padilla is starting the process to revoke Casey Anthony's bond. Actually it is Tony Padilla that is or will have to revoke her bond since he's the bondsman.
I figured it would be but a matter of time before they did this. Hopefully they will get her locked back up before she either runs or kills herself.
I did a little bit of reading on the forensics possibly used in the case and apparently the tests on the hair can show whether they were already dead or not because hair roots show bacteria that has infected the root after someone has died. Also, when someone dies fluid is leaked out of their mouth and nose that can be used to identify DNA.
The Sheriff's office isn't commenting on any of the forensics obviously to maintain the integrity of the case. The 400 pages of documents that were released earlier in the week were related to the cases already filed against Anthony. Anything specifically pertaining to new cases does not have to be released until after charges have been filed.

There has been much snotty and snide remarks about the setting of the speech. But let's us conveniently forget about the republicans having had the same type of setting for one of their senatorial elections in 2002.
I knew I could find the information having seen it the other day, it was the 2008 Virginia Republican convention. Guess it doesn't count for them huh? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Si4sfbX6w94 and

Cindy, what does any of this have to do with the post, which is about Leonard Padilla and Casey Anthony?
I do occasionally post political discussions but haven't any time lately.
Is Padilla going to be a man or a bondsman? If he turns her in on a whim, he should not be trusted by any future or potential clients. He will do the same to them so "watch out" and research your bail bondsman so your rights will be protected. As a law student, I for one would not refer any client to Padilla in the future.

Padilla isn't a bondsman, which is why things are like this. He's never claimed to be a bondsman. The dude is a bounty hunter.
Oh by the way, Casey has been arrested again. More details at http://www.shadowscope.com/archives/2008/08/casey_anthony_has_been_arrested_again.php
The bond was officially revoked per Fox Orlando.

Casey will be in jail "indefinitly".
Guess Padilla didn't like getting pummeled on the Nancy Grace show last night over his flip flopping.
Thanks for the link Nicole. Yeah, between Nancy Grace and the arrest last night I figured he would back out on it.
The guy is actually pretty smart. I would hope that maybe he would stick around an help look for Caylee's body with TES.
