One of the things that I got into once I started using an HTPC is to make sure that I kept an up to date movie database of both my online and offline movies. I have so many DVDs stored as well as recordings that sometimes it's hard to remember what I have, which version and so on. All My Movies makes this process easier by allowing me to keep a running tally of my movie collection with information pertaining to the movie, the actors and the supporting cast as well as directors and producers.
It also works with TV series, which is a big deal to me since I have quite a few entire series recorded in BeyondTV. Another reason I like All My Movies is the fact that the application is skinnable so any of the Windowblinds skins I use work with it as well.
I have used several different movie database programs to see what worked well and I like the fact that I can import and export my database to try with other stuff. It helps to be able to export it and use with Meedio or BeyondMedia since that's where I do most of my movie watching.
If you are interested in checking out All My Movies check out one of the links above and go download the trial version. It's a pretty small download and the trial lasts for 30 days, which should give you an idea about whether you want it or not.
Oh yeah, it's also compatible with the cheap cue cat barcode scanners. I picked one of these up from Radio Shack a few years ago and scanning UPC codes from DVDs is about the only thing I have ever been able to use it for.

I received these two bottles of Grey Poupon Mustard over the weekend and I was asked to try them and post an honest review about them. Heck, that's easy. The wife made hamburgers for supper Sunday night and what's a hamburger without mustard?
